THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE MANDATORY

• Bring your bedding and sleeping bag.
• Water bottle with filter.
• Warm and waterproof clothing.
• Backpack with dry bag.
• GPS.
• Satellite communicator (Sat phone, Spot or In Reach).

OTHER

• We have weight limits with our float planes. Therefore, pack wisely (our guides will give you more information at booking and before the hunt if necessary).
• To avoid getting gear wet before and during transit to our hunting grounds, it is strongly suggested to travel with waterproof luggage.

PHYSICAL CONDITION

Our fly-in moose hunts can be very physically demanding. We are deep in the Northern Alberta woods with no cellular connections or road access. For these kinds of hunts, we require our guests to be in good physical condition to be able to walk or paddle long distances in all kind of weather conditions and be able to carry medium to heavy loads.

For deer and black bear

Go directly to Edmonton Airport. Give the Outfitter your flight itinerary in advance and a member of the LRO team will pick you up directly.

Wound Policy

If at our discretion we think an animal is possibly mortally wounded and can not be recovered, this will be considered as a harvest and you will not be able to hunt another animal.

Gratuities

The recommended tip amount per hunter for guides is 10% of hunt cost or a minimum of $500 USD, whichever is greater.

Hunting Licenses

We will pick up your hunting licenses for you just prior to your hunt as long as you have returned your contract with your WIN# (Wildlife Identification Number).

Firearm Importation Form

You will need to register your firearm with Canada Customs when you arrive at the border. Click here to download the firearms declaration form. You will be charged a minimal fee upon arrival.
